As the title implies, Marsaskala-Wied il-Għajn by Canon Joe Abela, focuses on the picturesque village and its environs, right from the prehistoric to modern times. It is illustrated with many fine coloured and monochrome photographs that shed light on the locality's past and the present. The book carries a forward by the parish priest Fr Anton Cassar.
